Kenyan giants Tusker FC have sacked Ugandan coach Sam Timbe together with his entire technical bench following a string of poor results.
His sacking was imminent after Tusker succumbed to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Zoo Kericho FC yesterday leaving the 11-time champions in the 15th position on the 18-team log with only 10 points gathered from 11 league outings.
The former SC Villa and Police FC coach has been fired together with his assistant Francis Baraza, goalkeeping coach Haggai Azande and team doctor Wycliffe Makanga.
Timbe replaced his compatriot George Nsimbe in January but his spell has managed to register only 2 wins losing 5 times and drawing the other 4.
Former AFC Leopards coach Robert Matano is in the pole position to replace him after holding negations with the club hierarchy.
Tusker is also a home to Ugandan players Hashim Sempala, Lawrence Kasadha, Mathew Odong and Robert Achema.
