Kiyemba stuns URA FC with vital winner for Kyetume FC

Latif Kiyemba late strike saw Kyetume FC shock URA FC in a Uganda Premier League game at Nakisunga Ssaza ground on Wednesday.

Kiyemba netted the all important goal with a sensational free kick in the 78th minute.

A solitary roar on the final whistle from Jackson Mayanja underlined the importance of victory to the hosts who ended their four game winless run.

Kyetume’s Uganda Premier League survival may ultimately depend on it and they are now three points adrift of safety.

Defeat however sees, Sam Ssimbwa’s side fail to reclaim table leadership and are currently second with 54 points, a point below Express FC.

Kyetume FC next visit SC Villa on May 22rd while URA FC will entertain UPDF FC the following day.
