Kisala blames Express’ loss to Mbarara on lack of fighting spirit

Express FC succumbed to a disappointing 3-1 defeat to Mbarara City.

Tactician Kefa Kisala has decried the lack of grit and fighting spirit for his team’s loss.

“It is so disappointing that we lost in such a manner, I believe we should have done better than that”.

“Football is such a funny game, we created more chances that they did but they managed to put away theirs and we didn’t “

Having collected one point from two games so far, Kefa believes that there is plenty of time for redemption and putting the team back on truck

“We have identified our mistakes and weaknesses especially dealing with set pieces, we still have time to put everything back to order”

“We came into this encounter missing many players who are nursing injuries, the one that befell Kayiwa also hurt us a lot but I believe we shall have them in the next match”

Express are lying 13th on the log of 16 with 1 point and will be back in action on Tuesday 16th against Police at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo.
