Kirinya rally from 2 down to force a draw in the Jinja derby

Kirinya JSS fought from 2-0 down to set up an entertaining show down in the Jinja derby against BUL FC.

Farouk Banga headed home as early as the 2nd minute off a Joshua Lubwama well taken corner to give BUL FC an early lead.

BUL FC dominated the first half of the game creating several chances and in the 31st minute Deogracious Ojok doubled their lead through a long range shot.

Charles Ayiekoh’ men who looked better in the second stanza got their first of the day in the 57th minute when Fred Amaku dribbled past BUL FC’s defence lead by skipper Abdul Mayanja.

Thirteen minutes later Joel Madondo levelled matters through a long range shot finding shot stopper off his line moving to eight goals one goal behind Bashir Mutanda the leading scorer of the league.

Richard Wandyaka and Douglas Owori both of BUL and Joel Madondo of Kirinya Jinja SS were cautioned by center referee Rashid Kimera.

Kirinya Jinja SS are 7th with 18 points while their opponents remain in the 6th position with 19 points

Kirinya Jinja SS will be back in action on 5th January 2019 as they play URA FC as BUL FC will be back in action on Wednesday 19th December as they host Vipers SC at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru.
