Kirinya Jinja S.S storms the transfer market by securing 6 signatures

Azam Premier League side Kirinya Jinja SS has signed 6 players to boost their Squad ahead of the 2017-18 season. Striker Fred Amaku, goalkeeper Rubangkene Emmanuel, defender Sabil Nesta, defender Willy Makuro, Veteran Andrew Basoma and Left back Muledhu Faizo have all been signed by the Jinja based club on 2 year contracts each.

Fred Amaku, Nesta Sabil and Rubangkane Emmanuel were part of the Paidha Black Angels team that had a remarkable run in last season’s Uganda Cup.

Amaku had an impressive 2016-17 with Fufa Big League club Paidha Black Angels and he propelled the Paidha club to the final of Uganda Cup scoring vital goals against Vipers and Sadolin Paints.

 

Rubangkane Emmanuel who was named best goalkeeper in last season’s Fufa Uganda Cup despite missing the final against KCCA FC in Arua, He is going to offer a very rife competition for places with Thomas Ikara who was among the biggest performers of last season in the goalkeeping department.

Left footed Muledhu Faizo who has been on radars of a number of Uganda Premier League club has completed a move from Sadolin Paints FC putting to an end of various speculations.

Willy Makuro and Andrew Basoma have made moves from neighbors JMC Hippos and Sadolin Paints respectively. Andrew Basoma has previously featured for Police FC and JMC Hippos besides playing for Sadolin Paints on two spells.

Kirinya Jinja SS had a poor first round last season but bounced back with a number of changes in their rooster to change fortunes and staying in the league. They have already lost George Senkaaba and Mutanda Bashir two of the best performers in the last part of the season. Mutanda was on loan from Vipers while George Senkaaba has already joined SC Villa.

The six additions join midfielder Jimmy Jalendo who was signed earlier on from relegated JMC Hippos. Kirinya Jinja SS had the second best defence in the league behind Vipers and finished 10th on the log with 33 points securing a spot in 2017-18 season.
