Charles Ayiekoh who will be facing his former side Vipers SC is optimistic ahead of this contest and believes his players have fully recovered from the shock defeat to Onduparaka.

“I don’t think what happened against Onduparaka will happen again, it was a shocking result which I don’t see happening again. We strive to be better in every game and that’s what we have been doing in training.

“We have had some recovery sessions and I believe my players are in a great shape both mentally and physically to take on Vipers.”

Said Ayiekoh.

Kirinya will miss the services of assistant captain Godfrey Akol who is injured and at the same time, Nelson Mandela will have to wait for a late fitness test.

Taddeo Lwanga begins his two match ban after seeing red against SC Villa in their previous game while Left back Aggrey Madoi remains on the sidelines.

Joel Madondo who has been in brilliant form is expected to lift Ayiekoh’s men into dreamland. Fred Amaku and Anthony Mayanja will also need to be at their best.

The trio of Dan Sserunkuma, Moses Waiswa and Abraham Ndugwa who impressed against SC Villa is expected to again be productive to guide Vipers SC to their first maiden victory away at Kirinya.

Vipers SC need maximum points to stretch their lead at the table before they face KCCA FC in the mouthwatering fixture this Saturday. The hosts will also be seeking for their first home win this season.
