KCCA FC will entertain Express FC for a place in the semifinals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Friday at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

The two sides played out to a goalless stalemate in the first leg meeting of the quarterfinals at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku last week.

A win will see KCCA FC progress to the last four of the competition whereas any draw with goals will send the Red Eagles in the semis.

KCCA FC and Express FC are the joint record holders of the competition, both with 10 trophies apiece.

This will be the 24th meeting between the two sides, KCCA managing 10 wins, Express 4 and the other ten ending in stalemates.

The hosts will welcome back the duo of Samuel Ssenyonjo and Sadat Anaku who missed the first leg through respective injuries.

Filbert Obenchan, Brian Aheebwa, Julius Poloto, Peter Magambo, Andrew Kawooya and Kizza Joseph Bukenya are all ruled out with injuries. Defender Denis Iguma is also out through suspension.

Express FC will miss the services of their starman Eric Kambale through card accumulation while winger Godfrey Lwesibawa is out with a knock.

The visitors will also be without custodian Mathias Muwanga and forward Franks Kalanda who are suffering from flu.
