KCCA vs Busoga United rescheduled to Sunday 23rd

The Uganda Premier League secretariat has rescheduled match no 205 where KCCA will be hosting Busoga United at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

The game was supposed to be played on Saturday 22nd May 2021 but has been pushed to Sunday 23rd the same month.

It is due to the abandoned game between UPDF and KCCA at Bombo on Wednesday 19th due to heavy rain and will be played on Thursday 20th May whereby KCCA will need to get some recovery time.

“The SUPL M199# UPDF FC Vs KCCA that was played today at Bombo Barracks grounds was washed out in the 7th minute of play.”

Pursuant to Article 22(2) of the FUFA Competitions Rules.”In case a match is abandoned as a result of force majeure the match shall recommence with the same score, at the same minute at which play was interrupted rather than being played in full.’

Accordingly M#199 UPDF FC Vs KCCA FC will be play tomorrow Thursday 20th May 2021 at 10:30 for the remaining time.”

The match shall recommence under the following principles:

a.With the same players on pitch and substitutes available as when the match was initially abandoned.
b.No additional substitutes may be added to the list of players on the team sheet.

Relatedly Match M#205 KCCA FC Vs Busoga United that was scheduled to be played on Saturday 22nd May 2021 has been moved by a day to Sunday 23rd May 2021 to allow KCCA get some recovery time.”

By the time the game was abandoned the game was still goalless.
