KCCA unbeaten under Express scrutiny

KCCA FC will face another daunting task as they host rivals Express in a bid to restore their four point lead at the top of the table.

KCCA currently lead the table with 27 points after 11 games while Express are 5th with 19 points.

The Morley Byekwaso coached side is the only unbeaten team in the league and will be hoping to keep their 11 match unbeaten streak intact.

Express are also unbeaten in the last 11 games and come into the encounter after beating Gaddafi 1-0 in their last game.

KCCA were instead held by SC Villa to a 1-1 draw at Njeru.

Team News

KCCA welcome the quartet of Musa Ramathan, Innocent Wafula, Sadat Anaku and Ashraf Mugume who were serving a two match suspension.

They will however continue life without injured players in Julius Poloto, Yasser Mugerwa, Peter Magambo, Geoffrey Wasswa, Brian Kayanja and Emmanuel Wasswa.

Express welcome back winger Martin Kizza who will undergo a late fitness test.

Abel Eturude and Arthur Kiggundu are the only absentees due to injury.

The last 25 meetings between the two sides have been dominated by KCCA who have won 10 times. Express have won only four times while 11 times have been draws.

Players To Watch

Eric Kambale continues to shine as Express’ most reliable source for goals. He has scored four goals and will be expected to lead the Red Eagles in search of another positive result.

Davis Kasirye, Anaku and Charles Lwanga are Byekwaso’s go-to go men ahead of the derby tomorrow.
