KCCA start search for record Uganda Cup title against Nyamityobora

KCCA FC will officially start their search for the record 11th Stanbic Uganda Cup title when they welcome Nyamityobora at the MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo.

KCCA together with Express have won the Uganda Cup on 10 occasions and more than any club in the country.

The round of 32 encounter will be the second game for KCCA interim head coach Morley Byekwaso ever since he took over from Mike Mutebi.

Nyamityobora Football Club has never registered any victory against KCCA FC. The two sides have met twice and they all ended in favor of Byekwaso’s charges.

The hosts will be without Brian Aheebwa, Juma Balinya, Gift Ali, Musa Ramathan and John Revita due to injuries while Dominic Ayella and Joseph Kafumbe are also engaged with school duties.

Gerald Kimuli, Clinton Kamugisha and Ivan Ahimbisibwe will have to be at their best to inspire Nyamityobora Football Club to against their hosts.

KCCA will look up to their ever scoring offensive department in hunt for a routine victory against their visitors.

The other two games of the day will see Paidha Black Angels hosting Soltilo Bright Stars at Bar Okoro grounds in Zombo and Arua Hill SC playing against UPDF at Barifa grounds in Arua.
