KCCA FC and Police FC will hope to bounce back to winning ways when they face off in the Lugogo Derby in one of the four games to be played on Wednesday.
Both sides are tied on 37 points from 22 games played with KCCA fourth and Police fifth separated by goal difference.
Police lost their previous game 2-0 to Express on Saturday at Wankulukuku while KCCA fell 2-1 to rivals Vipers at Lugogo on Sunday.
KCCA boast of a superior Head to Head record against the Cops having won 15 of the last 22 meetings between the two sides. The Cops have not managed a win over KCCA in the process, their best results have been drawing on seven occasions.
The reverse fixture ended 1-1 with Sadat Anaku striking late to cancel Muwadda Mawejje’s first half goal.
KCCA welcome Charles Lwanga and Sam Ssenyonjo from injury but will continue to Brian Aheebwa, Filbert Obenchan, John Revita among the long term absentees. Steven Sserwadda is also ruled out of the clash.
Police welcome Johnson Odong and Frank Zaga Tumwesigye from injury, as well as Henry Katongole from suspension. Dennis Rukundo also returns to the team’s fold.
Strikers Derrick Kakooza and Henry Kisekka are ruled out by injury.
