In their bid to defend the title this season, 3rd places KCCA will settle for nothing but victory as they take on URA FC at Philip Omondi stadium
Stressing the importance of this fixture, manager Mike Mutebi told the press briefing that,
“The players around are ready to go and i think they have the responsibility to defend the league. I expect a good game because URA FC is also a good team with a good coach but in the end it is really important we win and that is what we are looking up to”.
Of the last 15 meetings between these two sides, the Kasasiro boys have won 6, drawn 5 and lost the other 4.
The reverse fixture between these two sides ended in a goalless draw at Namboole but their last meeting at Lugogo last season ended in a 2-2 stalemate.
In their last 5 games, KCCA FC has won twice and drawn the other 3 while URA FC has won once, drawn twice and lost twice out of their last 5 games.

URA welcome back Fred Okot who missed the previous game against Maroons FC due to national duty. Godfrey Ssembatya who also missed the previous game due to accumulation of yellow cards will be returning to the fold.
For KCCA FC, Allan Okello and Julius Poloto who have been away for national duty with the U-20 team will return to the squad while Muzamir Mutyaba, Saddam Juma and Derrick Nsibambi remain on the sidelines with injuries.
A win for KCCA will take them to 48 points with just a point behind table leaders but may remain in the 3rd position in case Vipers Sc win while one for the Namboole based side will take them to the 7th position even when the tie on 34 points with Maroons FC in the (6thposition) who better them in goal difference.
