KCCA FC are set to complete the signing of free agent goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan as Charles Lukwago’s replacement.
Ochan is currently out of contract at AFC Leopards and has already confirmed his departure from the Kenya Premier League giants.
This website has learnt that KCCA and Ochan are in the closing stages of negotiations that will see him return to KCCA for yet another stint.
A well placed source has revealed that a two year contract awaits Ochan who is currently waiting for the Kenya Premier League to climax next week.
“Benja (Benjamin Ochan) is expected to sign a two year contract towards the end of this month. They expect those budding goalkeepers (Mwirusi and Matovu) to have come of age in that period.” Revealed a source.
The 31 year old goalkeeper previously featured for KCCA between 2008-09 before he returned for a second stint between 2015-18.
He won two Uganda Premier League titles (2015/16 and 2016/17) and one Uganda Cup in 2017 before he left for Zambia’s Kabwe Warriors in 2018.
Ochan has also previously appeared for SC Villa and the now defunct SC Victoria University in Uganda and Bloemfontein Celtic of South Africa.
He was part of the Uganda Cranes in the African Nations Championships (CHAN) in South Africa (2014) and Morocco (2018).
