KCCA FC confirms Bukenya’s departure

Uganda Premier League side KCCA FC has officially confirmed the departure of midfielder Lawrence Bukenya.

The development was confirmed by the club PRO during a weekly club TV Show on Sanyuka TV on Sunday.

Bukenya joined the 13 time Uganda Premier League champions in 2017 from the club’s academy and last season he was on loan at Wakiso Giants.

He now rejoins Wakiso Giants on a permanent basis as he seeks for more playing time which was difficult for him to get at KCCA FC.

He joins Erisa Sekisambu, Jackson Nunda (URA FC), Jamil Malyamungu, Muzamiru Mutyaba, Mike Mutyaba (retired), Eric Ssenjobe (Police FC), Sadam Juma, Tom Ikara (Police FC) and Mustafa Kizza (Montreal Impact) who are the other confirmed exits.

Mike Mutebi has also beefed up his side with new signings Ashraf Mugume, Charles Lwanga, Stephen Mazengo Loro, Brian Aheebwa, Samson Andrew Kigozi, Bright Anukani, Dennis Iguma, Juma Balinya, Andrew Kawooya and Moses Kalanzi.
