KCCA FC will look for no slip ups when they collide with BUL FC in their last home league fixture this season. The Lugogo outfit need nothing less than 3 points to keep their title hopes alive whereas the Jinja based side only want to end with a respectable finish.
KCCA FC currently sits in second position with 57 points accumulated in 28 games played and only 2 adrift of log leaders Vipers SC.
BUL FC on the other hand are lying 9th placed on the AUPL table with 36 points collected in 28 games.
KCCA FC comes in this fixture with a morale boosting 2-1 win on the road away to Bright Stars with Derrick Nsibambi and Paul Mucurezi on target as John Kokas Opejo scored for the home side.
BUL comes in this contest back of an aftermath 2-1 defeat at the hands of Bright Stars in their own yard.
KCCA tactician Mike Mutebi has belief that his side has a big chance to defend the title but leaders Vipers still have the advantage and asserts that they are not under pressure. He says,
“I still believe we have a big chance to defend the title and to do we have to win our remaining games. Vipers still has the advantage over us but we are not under pressure since our major focus is to perform well on the continent.”
Mutebi also warns his men that it won’t be an easy game since BUL want to end the season with a respectable finish,
“It won’t be an easy game since our opponents also need to end the season with a respectable finish and I believe they will come to compete against us. But I do believe we have enough to out come them.”

The last 13 league meetings between them have seen KCCA the dominant side winning 5, drawn 5 and only losing twice to BUL. In their first round encounter at Kakindu Stadium KCCA edged BUL FC 3-1.
Mike Mutebi’s coached side are the only unbeaten side at home this season, winning 11 and drawn 3 in the 14 games they have hosted this season.
On the road, BUL FC have not been good travellers losing 9, winning only 3 and drawn once in their 13 league outings this season.
The home side have been boosted by the return of the trio of Julius Poloto, Allan Okello and Mustafa Kiiza who have been with the U-20 team. Skipper Timothy Awanyi also returns to the team after missing the game at Bright Stars through suspension.
They will heavily look up to Muhammad Shaban, Charles Lukwago, Paul Mucurezi and Saddam Juma for inspiration.
The visitors have no injury concerns ahead of this contest and will have their trust in Hamis Tibita who is back in the squad after the U-20 engagements alongside Jean Pierre Muhindo and Timothy Douglas Owori.
Victory for KCCA can take them to summit in case Vipers fail to beat Express, whereas BUL will leapfrog Bright Stars in 6th place with maximum points.
