KCCA courting Vipers’ in form striker

KCCA FC are interested in signing Vipers SC forward Steven Mukwala currently on loan at Maroons.

The striker is one of KCCA’s top targets in the next transfer window as they look forward to boosting their attack.

Mukwala is one of the most in demand players after a sensational campaign in which he leads the scorers chart in the Uganda Premier League with 13 goals.

Swift Sports Understands that, KCCA FC have been in secret discussions with Mukwala and his entourage for months.

It is also believed Mukwala is keen to join the 13 time league champions and personal terms are not expected to be a problem.

The striker is in his final year at Vipers, having joined the Kitende based side in June 2017 on a three year employment contract from Edgar’s Youth FC.

Mukwala has also previously played for Bulemeezi (2015) and Ssingo (2017) in the prestigious Airtel Masaza Cup tournament.

He was a key pillar in Copa Cola National Post Primary Schools championship in 2016 helping Kibuli SS to win the event in Soroti.
