KCCA FC have officially confirmed the appointment of Morley Byekwaso as their new head coach on a three year contract.

The soft spoken tactician was Mutebi’s assistant and served as the club’s coach on an interim basis till the end of the recently concluded season.

Byekwaso, a former KCCA player, has previously served as an assistant coach at the club in three different stints under Matia Lule, George Nsimbe and recently Mike Mutebi.

Byekwaso is expected to name his technical team after all members of the KCCA technical team ran down their employment contracts at the end of last month.

He has previously coached at Simba FC (now UPDF) and the now defunct SC Victoria University.

He is currently the coach of the Uganda U-23 team that will compete in the upcoming CECAFA U23 Challenge Cup in Ethiopia.
