More woes for Express as KCCA closes gap on SC Villa

Kcca Fc pulled a hard fought 1-0 victory over Express Fc at Startimes Stadium Lugogo.

Express F.c that looked a better side in the first half though Andrew Sekayombya failed to break the deadlock off Daniel Serunkuma’s Cross.

Into the second period, Kcca tactician Mike Mutebi made a double substitution to spice his attack with Paul Mucureezi and Julius Poloto paving way for Allan Oryek and Tito Okello respectively.

Sadam Juma was also introduced on for Allan Okello later on in the 60th minute while Abubaker Kasule, Steven Bengo and Mubarak Nsubuga for David Ndihabwe, Andrew Sekayombya and Davies Mayanja respectively for the visitors.

With only eleven minutes to the full 90 Tito Okello broke the deadlock for the home side to inspire Kcca Fc to a narrow 1-0 victory over Express Fc.

The Wankulukuku outfit have lost 10 games in the first round leaving Shafiq Bisaso winless in the four games he has managed Express Fc.

The win today puts second placed Kcca Fc on 29 points and three points adrift of current table leaders Sc Villa whereas Express Fc who are sinking faster than a stone stay second placed from the drop zone on 11 points.
