Ahead of the mid-season transfer window, striker Musa Esenu has agreed to join URA FC on loan from KCCA FC in a bid to arrest the club’s unpleasant scoring record.
Esenu switches from Lugogo after struggling to nail down a slot in Mike Mutebi’s match day selections since the start of the season.
Swift Sports understands Esenu will be on the books of URA FC for at least a year.
” Esenu will be a URA FC player for the next 12 months. ” A source revealed to Swift Sports.
The former Vipers SC and Soana FC striker has been training with Sam Simbwa’s coached side at the club’s official training ground in Gayaza.
His arrival comes at the prime time when the tax collectors have had goals hard to come their way, a feat that has left them 8th on the premier league log.
Despite being one of the two teams yet to taste defeat thus far, URA FC has only managed 7 goals from as many games, an account only better than bottom dwellers Paidha Black Angels and Ndejje University.
As a budding striker, Esenu sprung to the footballing scene with Soana FC in the second half of the 2015-16 season before completing a money move to Vipers two years ago.
Esenu spent the whole of last season at Kirinya Jinja SSS on loan from Kitende and registered 8 league goals and a handful of assists on his name.
