I am delighted to be here to support Jean Sseninde and I thank Jean Sseninde for organizing a successful women’s football workshop, she is extremely very brave.

It’s a big opportunity to support the girl child to develop in sports activities because it helps in the social economic development of a country. I therefore encourage the Women to play football because it’s doesn’t take away someone’s chance of becoming a mother.

Football is one of those activities that help in development. I call everyone to always give support to ladies to play football, I know ladies have the capabilities to perform if given a chance just like the gents.”

He also called upon the coaches, administrators and journalists to sensitize the public about women football.

“I call upon the coaches, administrators and journalists to promote women football because this will help to create awareness about it’s importance to the development of the country.”

I believe through football activities the we can develop the Kingdom and the country.” He stated.

The other dignitaries at the workshop were, The minister for Primary Education Rosemary Nansubuga Sseninde, Express FC chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka, FUFA Vice President Justus Mugisha and USPA President Patrick Kanyomozi.
