Mustafa Kizza played 77 minutes before he was replaced by Clement Bayiha as CF Montreal drew 1-1 with Nashville SC.

Striker Edward Kizza came off the bench to replace Matt Polster as his New England Revolution side lost 2-1 to FC Dallas.

Mike Azira played 70 minutes before he was withdrawn for Sergio Rivas as New Mexico United lost 3-1 to his former side Colorado Springs Switchbacks in the US second tier.

Sweden

Alexis Bbakka played full-time as Umea FC drew 2-2 with his former side Dalkurd FF in the Swedish third tier on Sunday.

South Africa

Goalkeeper Ismail Watenga was in goal as Chippa United drew 1-1 with Richards Bay in the PSL Relegation/Promotion Play offs.

Watenga and teammates will wait for the final verdict on Royal AM FC to confirm their survival from relegation. Royal AM failed to turn up for their play off games.

Denmark

Midfielder Robert Kakeeto played for Aalborg in the preseason friendlies against Hobro IK (Friday) and Viborg (Sunday). Aalborg lost 1-0 to Hobro but drew 2-2 against Viborg.

Zambia

Shafik Batambuze (Kabwe Warriors) and Yasin Mugabi (Red Arrows) qualified for next season’s CAF Confederation Cup after finishing in the 3rd and 4th place of the Zambian League table.

Batambuze provided an assist in their 3-2 win over Indeni United while Mugabi didn’t feature in Red Arrows’ goalless draw with Zanaco as the league concluded.

DR Congo

Joseph Ochaya played full-time for TP Masembe in their 1-0 away win over Union Maniema in the Congolese Linafoot. Ochaya and teammates will now wait for the final decision on whether they are crowned champions or not. This comes after AS Vita were deducted 9 points for fielding an ineligible player.

Ochaya finished the season with 2 goals and 8 assists.

Tanzania

Taddeo Lwanga featured for Simba while goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya and right back Nicholas Wadada turned out for Azam as the two sides clashed in the semi final of the Azam Sports Federation Cup (ASFC). Simba emerged victorious courtesy of a late Jose Luis Miquissone goal.

The other semi final saw Biashara Mara United lose 1-0 to Yanga Africa. Former URA goalkeeper Cleo Ssetuba was in goal for the losing side while his teammate Joseph Zziwa didn’t feature.

Kenya

Umaru Kasumba and William Wadri were on the scoresheet as Bandari FC beat Kariobangi Sharks 4-1.

Kasumba opened the scoring in the 18th minute with his second goal of the campaign before Wadri converted from the penalty mark at the half hour mark. Wadri has so far scored 9 goals.

Former URA winger Peter Lwasa featured for Kariobangi Sharks.

Left back Fred Nkata Junior came off the bench to replace John Macharia in the 67th minute as Gor Mahia lost 2-1 to Western Stima.

Center back Junior Joseph Mukisa featured for Western Stima who did not have Isaac Doka Mweru and Martin Mpuuga on the day.

Goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan was in action as his AFC Leopards side beat Wazito FC 2-1.

Sudan 

Jamal Salim Magoola was in goal as Al Hilal Omdurman beat Abu Hamad 4-1 to seal a place in the Sudan Cup quarter final.

Morocco

Patrick Henry Kaddu came off the bench in the 72nd minute to replace Abdessamad Niani as his Youssouffia Berrechid lost 2-0 to Rapid Oued Zem on Saturday.

Kaddu was on a return from suspension after seeing red in the game against his parent club RS Berkane a week ago.

Czech Republic

Isaac Muleme was part of the Viktoria Zizkov team that lost 5-0 to Slovan Liberec in a friendly game on Saturday.

 

Egypt

Derrick Nsibambi played 60 minutes before he was withdrawn for Mohamed Nadi as his Smouha FC lost 3-0 to Ismaily SC.

Burundi

Steven Mugisha and Allan Brian Kizza didn’t play for Le Messager Ngozi who beat Flambeau du Centre in the Nkurunziza Cup final.

Kizza and Mugisha have now won a domestic double having won the league title last month.

Rwanda

Yafesi Mubiru scored a hat trick as Sunrise FC thumped Musanze FC 5-1. Mubiru currently jointly leads the top scorers table with 10 goals.

Sulaiman Majanjalo and Hood Kaweesa also played for the Moses Basena coached side while Pius Wangi and Ayub Kizza didn’t feature.

Former Lweza and Bright Stars winger Hassan Kikoyo scored once as Gasogi United beat AS Muhanga 4-0. The strike was his sixth of the season.

Striker John Musasizi was on target for Espoir FC in their 3-1 win over Rayon Sports.

Somalia

Defender Henry Wamala and striker Steven Ategeka featured for Heegan and Gaadiidka respectively. Heegan won 3-2.
