Kasozi, Gift Ali and Kizza bounce back as Micho names preliminary squad for World Cup qualifiers

Cranes head coach Micho Sredejovic has named a 30 man squad to begin preparation for the FIFA World Cup qualification Qatar 2022.

He has included long time absentees Nicholas Kasozi and Abubaker Gift Ali in the tentative squad.

The squad is comprised of mainly locally based players and some foreign based players who are currently on holiday in Uganda.

The team is set to pitch a camp in Jordan and play two friendly games against the Syrian National Team on 23rd and 26th August before returning to Africa to play another friendly game against Ethiopia in Addis Ababa enroute to Kenya for the first Group E qualifiers match against Harambee stars.
