A goal a piece by forward Davis Kasirye and winger Julius Poloto in either half gave KCCA and edge over Tooro United at Lugogo today evening.
The Kasasiro boys have maintained a fine start to the ongoing season with a fourth successive win in as many games.
Davis Kasirye scored an early goal on the evening to extend his personal tally of the season to Three goals in the four games he has by far appeared for the Morley Byekwaso coached side.
Youngster Sadat Anaku missed an opportunity to double the lead for the home side as the clock ticked towards the halftime breather when effort from a free-kick went to the side net.
Into the second period, coach Morley made a few changes which saw Julius Poloto replace Yasser Mugerwa and Rogers Mato replace Anaku with 15 minutes into the second stanza.
The new faces enforced KCCA’s forward line and blew more life in the team’s final third.
The visitors continued to search for an equalizer while the home side chased for a winner.
With only 6 minutes left to play, second half substitute Julius Poloto scored a beautiful free-kick to put the scoreline beyond reach for the Edward Golola coached side.
The win helped KCCA FC to maintain grip on top of the table with 12 points collected from 4 games while Tooro United currently lie 9th with four points garnered from 3 games.
