Eric Kenzo Kambale was the hero once again as Express FC beat Gaddafi FC 1-0 on Friday at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

He headed the hosts into the lead five minutes to halftime breather off a well delivered corner kick from Sadiq Ssekyembe.

Before Kambale’s goal, the reigning Uganda Premier champions could hit the front through Godfrey Lwesibawa.

The winger had only the goal at his disposal but the winger blasted over the bar after being fed by Kambale.

Early in the second period, Charles Musiige failed to double the hosts advantage when he was released by George Ssenkaaba but the midfielder’s effort when wide.

Express held on to a fifth win of the current campaign and takes them to 19 points in 11 games whereas Gaddafi stay on 13 points.
