Eric Kambale and Godfrey Lwesibawa inspired Express FC to a 2-0 win over Mbarara City at Muteesa II Stadium on Tuesday.

Kambale struck from the spot after Mbarara defender Ronald Otti had fouled forward Raymond Walugembe from the forbidden area.

Lwesibawa put the seal on the Red Eagles victory with his second goal of the season late in the second half.

The visitors had minimal opportunities with their only reasonable shot on target coming from Ronald Edwok.

The victory sees Express FC move to sixth position with 15 points in nine games.

Mbarara City are ninth with 10 points in nine games they have played this season.

Express FC will next visit URA FC on 11th December in Ndejje while Mbarara City host Onduparaka FC at Kakyeka Stadium on the same day.
