Kakindu Stadium deemed fit to host Uganda Premier league games again

FUFA has finally approved Kakindu Stadium in Jinja to host both Uganda Premier League and FUFA Big League games.

This was in a document addressed to the Stadim Owner/management signed by Deputy CEO Decolas Hantali Kizza

“With reference to the stadium inspection mission conducted by the chairman FUFA Stadium Inspection Committee on your Stadium, kindly find below the aforesaid inspection visits.”

The missing requirements as stated below have been worked upon as recommend from the previous inspection

1-There were no fixed and covered technical benches.
2.Dressing teams for both teams and match officials needed to be set up.
3.The turf had bare patches.

In light to the above the Stadim was inspected at Class 3 level and qualified to host Uganda Premier League matches, Startimes FUFA Big League matches and Stanbic Uganda Cup.

With the UPL first round climaxing on Sunday 9th-January and the FUFA Big League currently in a break, the Stadium is likely to host the second.

For the Stanbic Uganda Cup the draws for the round of 64 are expected to be held on Monday 10th-January.
