Ugandan shot stopper Mathias Kigonya has joined Kenyan topflight side Kakamega Homeboyz.
Kigonya who has been a free agent after parting ways with his former paymasters Sofapaka FC, put pen to paper on a one year contract.
Kigonya joins fellow Ugandans, Andrew Waiswa and former teammate at Bright Stars Hassan Kikoyo at a Fred Nkata coached side.
He is expected to officially link up with his new teams this week to start preparations for the new Kenyan topflight division season.
The former Bright Stars custodian joins other new recruits at the club which include, Luke Namanda, David Odhiambo and Sosthenes Idah.
Last season Kakamega finished 10th on the log and will begin the fresh new campaign with a home fixture against new entrants KCB on 8th December, 2018.
