Despite succumbing to a 1-0 defeat to Big League side Kansai Plascon in a build up game on Monday morning, Kajjansi United are optimistic of upstaging Vipers in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
The Buganda region league will host their Entebbe road neighbors Vipers at Wankulukuku Stadium on Wednesday 22nd January.
Moses Ssenyonga, the head coach of Kajjansi United believes the build up is a perfect precursor for the round of 64 tie against Vipers.
” It has been a good test for us ahead of the big game, this defeat will help us correct some mistakes.”
” Vipers SC is a strong side but we are more than ready for the big challenge ahead of us. I believe my players will play their hearts out to get the best result.” Ssenyonga asserts
” I call upon our fans to come in numbers to rally behind our team as we hope for victory on Wednesday.” He adds.
It was a lone goal scored by bowlegged striker Robert Sentongo Junior that marked the difference between Kansai Plascon and Kajjansi United in the build up game.
While Kajjansi will host Vipers at Wankulukuku, Kansai Plascon will visit Soroti FC on Friday 24th January at the Soroti grounds.
