South African ABSA Premiership side Kaizer Chiefs is in advanced talks with Gor Mahia over a possible transfer of Ugandan international Godfrey Walusimbi.
Bobby Motaung the Kaizer chiefs manager confirmed that they are in talks with Gor Mahia over a possible move for the player. He said,
“The two clubs are in discussions and we hope to finalise the matter in the next few days.” Motaung said according to Chiefs website.
The 29 year old left back is currently under contract with Gor Mahia until 2020 has been in South Africa since his side’s 2-1 loss to Bandari last week.
Walusimbi joined the Kenyan giants in 2014 and enjoyed great success at the club winning several trophies. He has previously played for SC Villa and Bunamwaya FC now Vipers SC and Don Bosco (Congo).
The left back is among the national team summoned by Coach Sebastien Desabre on Wednesday ahead of the Group L 2019 African Qualifier contest against Tanzania earlier in September.
