Crested Cranes striker Juliet Nalukenge has left the country for Cyprus to join her new club Apollon Ladies FC.

Nalukenge departed for Europe on Tuesday afternoon at 4pm to embark on her professional career.

The teenage sensation already signed a two year contract with Cyprus’ most successful club after turning 18 years.

The 2019 female MVP is regarded as one of the best strikers in the country today having rose to prominence with Kawempe Muslim where she has won a number of titles both with the club and school team.

She captained the national U17 team to a COSAFA U-17 championship triumph in Mauritius in 2019 and emerged as the tournament’s top scorer with 18 goals.

At the start of this year, Nalukenge was named among the top 10 female wonderkids in the world by Goal.com.

Her new side Apollon Ladies FC is associated with Apollon Limassol FC and has won 10 Cypriot First Division titles, 10 Cypriot Cups and 7 Cypriot Super Cups.

Apollon Ladies will play against Ukrainian side Zhytlobud Kharkiv in the final qualification round to determine which side qualifies for this year’s UEFA Women’s Champions League group stages.
