Ugandan female footballer Jean Sseninde Namayega has joined English lower division side Wakefield Trinity Ladies Football Club.
This was confirmed by the English club,
” Trinity Secure Sseninde. 27-year-old Ugandan International, Jean Sseninde, the former QPR and Crystal Palace defender has joined Trinity Ladies Football Club. This is a show of intent by Wakefield Trinity Women Club.”

Sseninde expressed her delight upon joining her new side,
” Am excited to continue my football journey next season Trinity Ladies FC ,Very professional club with a lot of intent!” Sseninde said,
” To all the little girls, never be allowed to be written off when it comes to anything you love! Never put limits on what you can do to inspire a generation” she added.
Based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, England, Trinity Ladies FC will be Sseninde’s home for the next one year.
Wakefield Trinity Ladies Football Club competes in the North East Regional Women’s Football League Premier Division.
Sseninde, 27, has previously featured for Queens Park Rangers, Charlton Athletic, London Phoenix and Crystal Palace.
