James Otim strike denies resurgent Villa at Njeru

Substitute James Otim’s 68th minute helped BUL FC secure a deserved point against SC Villa after out Pius Wangi’s first half goal.

BUL FC was forced into an early subsitution goal scorer James Otim came in as early as the 23rd minute replacing Deogracious Ojok who left the field of play limping

Wangi put the visitors into the through a header, connecting with a well delivered cross from Derrick Ndahiro.

Otim then intervened to put the game level in the 68th minute through a simple tap in past Saidi Keni.

Charles Ssebutinde and James Otim worked hard for a break through to restore BUL’s but in vein.

BUL head coach Peter Onen was however not satisfied with the point earned, insisting that his team should have done better.

” I am very sure were more superior to SC Villa and they are very lucky to moved away with a point. personally I am not impressed with the result but our focus is now on our next opponent.”

Both teams will be back on action on Wednesday 27th February as BUL FC will be visiting Nyamityobora FC at Kakyeka and SC Villa hosting Police FC at Mandela National Stadium Namboole.
