“It’s the first of many to come” Kirya enthused by maiden victory

Having played to stalemates in their two opening fixtures against Amuka Bright Stars and JMC Hippos 2-2 and 1-1 respectively, big League favourites Wakiso Giants have managed to break the duck and win their first game of the Big league season.

Head coach Ibrahim Kirya expressed his delight at the milestone and he hopes that the win will provide a perfect foundation for his team to build on,  in their pursuance for promotion.

The victory takes Wakiso Giants to 5 points and 2nd of Elgon group, 2 points behind the table leaders Light SS.

The Purple Sharks will be back in action on Thursday- 22nd – November against Bukedea TC at Emokori Grounds Bukedea
