SINAN RAJUB SENOGA
BUL FC vs URA FC
Tuesday 6th November
Njeru technical center
Kick off: 4:30pm
Match day 7 pits an in-form BUL FC side against the Sam Simbwa’s inconsistent URA FC at the Njeru technical center in Jinja.
Under the tutelage of Peter Onen, BUL FC have taken the virgin season by storm to sit surprising 2nd on the table with 13 points.
URA FC are yet to fit that hype that hovered around them at the start of season despite being among the only three teams yet to taste defeat.
The tax collectors come into this duel after playing to a disappointing goalless draw with league newbies Nyamityobora at Namboole.
BUL FC : WWDWL
URA FC : DDDWD
URA has won 7 of their 14 league meetings with BUL, drawing on 5 occasions. The Jinja outfit has only managed 2 wins both of which have come at home including last season’s 1-0 at Kakindu.
Peter Onen is very optimistic that his side will put a stop to URA’s dominance against them.
” Irrespective of the table standings, URA has been a more successful side than us but tomorrow’s game will be determined by the technical and tactical ability exhibited by either sides. “
” It’s not going to be an easy game because if I am to recall very well, URA has always picked maximum points against us throughout my entire 2-year stay at BUL but we are going to try and see that that doesn’t happen again. “
The soft spoken tactician will once again look up to his attacking options of Hamis Tibita, Daniel Shabena and Deogracious Ojok for inspiration.
Noteworthy, Onen’s men are the high scoring team in the league as of now but will be facing the meanest defense in the league that has conceded only one goal.
Offensive midfielders in Shafik Kagimu, Said Kyeyune and Vitalis Tabu should be at their best if at all the tax collectors are to pick their 3rd win of the season.
URA sit distant 8th with 10 points but victory can spring them up to 2nd spot if others results go their way. BUL can temporarily unseat log leaders Vipers should they pick a positive result in Njeru.
