A hatrick from Ibrahim Juma Dada and debutant Damien Nakalema were enough to hand Asaph Mwebaze coach side a comfortable win against Police.
The cops only managed a consolation through Arafat Galiwango handing them their second heaviest defeat of the season.
Juma Balinnya failed to give Police FC an early lead in the 8th minute when he failed to tap into an empty net after beating debutant younster Denis Otim
15 minutes later, Ibrahim Dada opened his account by putting Abanyakare in the lead.
Debutant Damien Nakalema doubled the lead for the visitors through a well delivered cross from Ibrahim Juma Dada in the 30th minute.
Abdul Mubiru made an early change after conceding the second goal, bringing on Johnson Odongo for Puis Kagwa who had lost momentum of the game.
Asaph Mwebaze’s side looked the better side with four debutants in his starting including shot stopper Denis Otim, John Sserunjogi, Joel Ayuko and Damien Nakalema.
More misery was pilled on to the Cops in the 85th minute when Dada comfortably received a well delivered cross from versatile defender Ibrahim Pengere completing his hatrick and second of the second following Patrick Kaddu’s first round hatrick against Paidha Black Angels at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo.
A win moves Abanyakare to 12 points but remain 13th still in the drop zone while Mubiru’s charges also remain 8th with 21 points.
Police FC will play Express FC in their next fixture Monday 4th February while Nyamityobora FC will host Vipers SC on Tuesday 5th at Kakyeka Stadium.
