Petit Wanock’s shot in the 64th minute was enough to win all 3 points as Soana defeated URA at Kavumba Recreational Grounds.

It’s Soana’s 5th home win of the season and Alex Isabirye’s first since taking over as head coach. It elevates them to 24 points and 11th on the log.

It was a rebound from goalkeeper Nathan Alionzi who failed to control Baker Buyala’s volley that found Wanock well spaced to find the back of the net.

Both teams played to a barren first half neither creating serious attacks which could could bring positive results.

Shafiq Kagimu was presented with a glorious chance to equalize for the visitors but his shot went inches away from the target.

Five minutes after Soana taking the lead Said Kyeyune and Moses Sseruyidde were withdrawn introducing Nicholas Kagaba and Mulikyi though they had no impact in the game
