Holders Proline rally against Katwe to storm next round

Holders Proline FC rallied from a goal down to edge FUFA Big league side Katwe United 2-1 to storm the round of 32 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo in the Lugogo derby.
Proline’s goals came in the second half with captain Mustafa Mujuzi converting from the spot in 51st minute after Brian Umony was put down in the box before Hakim Kiwanuka scoring the winner in the 82nd minute.
Micheal Lubowa had put Allan Kabonge’s coached side in the lead as early as the 8th minute.
In another game of the day Uganda Premier League strugglers Tooro United fought hard to earn a 3-2 victory from Starlight FC at Starlight SS grounds in Soroti.
Kigezi Homeboyz also edged Kiryandongo Town Council 3-1 at Kiryandongo Church of Uganda grounds to storm the round of 32.
The three teams join Mbarara City who also booked a berth in the Round of 32 after defeating Kakira United 2-1 on Monday.
Action resumes on Wednesday 22nd with three games on the cards.
Buganda regional league side Kajjansi United will host Vipers SC at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku in the Entebbe road derby.
Busoga United visit Busia Young at Busia Madibira grounds.
Bugamba FC will be facing off with Onduparaka FC at Bugamba grounds in Rwampara.
