Health Haven Clinic has handed equipments worthy ten thousand dollars to Uganda Premier League side UPDF.
The Army side received 100 balls, 180 sets of jerseys and 30 pairs of Soccer boots
Doctor Elizabeth Katumba Akakunda on behalf of Health Haven Clinic promised more as this is just the beginning,
“We are delighted to partner with UPDF the forces have done a great commendable work and this is pay back time.”
“As Health Haven Clinic this is a CSR drive as we plan to celebrate our four years in September this is just the beginning we expect to provide more.”
The event was at the headquarters of the facility where UPDF was represented by the club’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ashiraf Miiro and the club captain Denis Ssekitoleko.
Miiro was grateful and promised positive results in return,
“This is a great boost to UPDF family and we also promise better performance .”
“In sports good equipments always lead to good results.”
UPDF are seventh on the UPL table with 32 points
