Mpande in action for City Yangon FC

Joseph Mpande was again inspirational for Yangon in the 4-2 home win over City Stars FC, as his hat trick cemented promotion to Myanmar topflight division. City Yangon FC have accumulated 47 points in 17 games followed by Mahar United FC in 2nd place on 36 points with only 3 games to play
The former Vipers man scored his first of the day in the 16 minute, got the second in the added minute of halftime and completed his hat trick 12 minutes to time. Aung Phyo Phyo had given the hosts the lead in the 10th minute, with Elysee scoring a brace for the hosts in the 14th and 49th minute respectively.
This is Mpande’s sixth hat trick of the season and the teams that have faced his wrath are, University FC, City Stars, Pongan fc, Silver star FC punished them home and away and Mawyawady Fc
Mpande also tops the leading scorers chat of the Myanmar second division with 29 goals in 17 matches he has played this season.
Mpande joined City Yangon fc in 2016 after a successful season with the kitende based club Vipers in the transfer that led to suspension of Harunah Kyobe from active football on allegations that he didn’t consult FUFA.
