Former Vipers, El Merrick, TP Mazembe and Express FC midfielder Mike “Sulaiman” Mutyaba is on the verge of making a sensational U-turn and return to active football since retiring last year in February.

Mutyaba who is currently playing with Dream futsal club in the national futsal league was part of the KCCA FC squad that took on Paidha Black Angels in preparation for their do or die affair with Onduparaka FC slated for Tuesday 17th April 2018.

Swift sports Uganda contacted KCCA FC to bring the reports to the fore and this is what Moses Magero had to say,

“Mutyaba has been training with us for sometime now but we haven’t signed him”.

“A formal communication regards the any developments will be made when the time is due”

Added the club’s mouth piece.

Mutyaba was however adamant to give details of the impending deal but he did not rule out a possible return to active football.

“I am simply training with the team and i travelled along with them to Arua but i haven’t joined them yet.”

“I am not fully fit yet and i am now working on getting back to full fitness. Once i am fully fit and there is an offer i will definitely take it with open hands”.
