Guinea celebrate a recent victory against the Ivory Coast

Guinea Conakry battled from a 3-1 deficit suffered in Dakar to thrash Senegal 5-0 at the Estadio September 28th in Conakry. They have edged Senegal 6-3 on aggregate.
The match which was slated for the 22nd of August was postponed due to unpleasant weather conditions that saw the referees push it to Wednesday 23rd August.
Goals from Sekou Amadou Camara who registered a hat – trick, Mohammed N’Diaye, and Ibrahim Sory Camara saw Guinea put the Lions of Terranga on the onslaught.
Guinea have now qualified for their 2nd successive finals after having debuted in the 2016 version that was hosted by Rwanda where they finished 4th.
