Golola makes return to Vipers’ technical bench

DAVID GOMBE

Edward Golola has been named as fifth member on the Vipers technical bench. He will join Kenyan born tactician Michael Nam Ouma, goalkeeping coach Moses Oloya, Edward Ssali as the trainer and Ram Nyakana as the strength and endurance coach.

Golola has currently been managing Big league side Kitara FC on an interim basis after replacing Sam Kawalya who left the club earlier this season.

Swift Sports Uganda sources understand that the man who has been part of the Vipers’ success in all three league titles has made a return to the club.

Last season, he was assistant to Miguel Da Costa as the Kitende based side clinched the league title. He has also been part of St. Mary’s Boarding S.S Kitende national and East Africa triumphs.

Vipers SC is currently second on the UPL table with 25 points and will next face Onduparaka FC on Tuesday 8th January at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende before their CAF Confederations cup game against CS Sfaxien on Saturday.
