GOLF: Bwambale set for national team consideration

17 year old young golfer Amon Bwambale affirms that he is ready for the national team qualifiers that are scheduled for 9th and 10th- March.

The tournament will take place at both Kampala Golf Course and Entebbe Golf Course to select a team that will have to represent Uganda Golf team in both national and international tournaments.

Bwambale a student at AFRIYEA Golf Academy based in Fort Portal believes that the time is now for him to to prove his worth,

“Through the knowledge i have got from AFRIYEA Golf Academy, I believe my time is now to put up a good performance that will enable me get the national team card.”

“Special appreciation to my coaches who have done a great job in preparing me for the best always.”

He missed the cut for the national team qualifiers in 2019 but has a lot of confidence to make it through.

Michael Businge, Bwambale and Wycliff Leo will represent AFRIYEA Golf Academy Fort Portal.

Over 65 golfers interested in representing for the national team are expected to take part in the tournament.

Only 20 at the end of the tournament will be selected to be on the national team.
