South African football has been stunned by the untimely death of Lamontville Golden Arrows defender and captain Nkanyiso Mngwengwe “Sgora”
Sgora passed away in the early morning of Monday at his home in Kwazulu – Natal with details of his death still sketchy though his teammates have said he died in his sleep.
Lamontville Golden Arrows confirmed the sad news through their official media platforms.

The 30-year old central defender joined the Abafana Bes’thende from Umngeni City in 2013 and subsequently made over 140 appearances.
He captained the ABSA Premiership outfit in over 50 games and scored three goals in the process.
During the current season, Sgora had fell in pecking order and only managed to garner one appearance.
