The Federation of Uganda Football Association ( FUFA) has today appointed Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin as the new head coach for the U17 and U20 teams on a one year contract deal.

Kwesi replaces Peter Onen who was relieved of his duties a few months back.

Kwesi promises to deliver despite having little time ahead of the qualifiers.

“Despite having a short period of time, I am here on a mission and promise the best since my first task is the U17 AFCON in Tanzania.”

“I have worked with the youth for so long usually they make a lot of mistakes but require patience to succeed.”

He calls for cooperation from everyone since football requires the help of everybody,

“I need maximum co -operation from everybody as you can see football, no one person can do it all we need the help of all people to succeed and make Ugandan football where you want it to be.”

The UEFA Pro License holder will be working with Jackson Magera and Hamza Lutalo as first and second assistants respectively with Mubarak Kiberu as the goalkeeping coach.

His first task will be leading the Cubs into the U17 AFCON which is due in April 2019
