She Corporates registered their biggest win of the season with a 4-0 drabbing of Kampala Queens at the IUIU Kabojja Campus on a Wednesday that had three Fufa Women Super League fixtures.

Aisha Namubiru Mbajja “Demba Ba”, Favour Danielita Nambatya, Suzan Atim and substitute Dorcus Namukisa scored a goal apiece for the Ali Zzinda coached side.

Namubiru opened the scoring in the 6th minute before Atim made it 2-0 right at the break.

Nambatya converted a penalty after she was fouled by Fatuma Nakasumba in the box in the 70th minute.

Namukisa who later replaced Nambatya put the icing on the cake with the fourth one seven minutes to normal time.

Farida Bulega had her star player, captain and leading striker Fauzia Najjemba start on the bench only to be introduced in the second half with the damage beyond repair.

Kampala Queens are now seventh with only seven points while She Corporates are now on 10 points in the fourth place.

The game between Kawempe Muslim and UCU Lady Cardinals at Mukono ended 2-2 but was played for 109 minutes with the second half lasting for one hour and two minutes.

Referee Vicent Matovu might have forgotten that a game lasts for 90 minutes and didn’t have any reason for a long extension of the stoppage time. Worse still UCU’s equaliser came in the “added minutes.”

Into the game, Shamira Nalugya punished UCU for an early penalty miss as she drew first blood with a free kick in the 16th minute.

Joan Kwagala had missed a penalty two minutes before Nalugya’s free kick.

Juliet Nalukenge made it 2-0 from the penalty mark at the hour mark after being fouled by Mercy Nabulobi.

Hasifa Nassuna who had came on for Teddy Najjuma reduced the deficit to 2-1 converting the third penalty of the game in the 66th minute.

Harriet Muwugumya made it 2-2 inside the extra 15 minutes.

The draw however leaves Kawempe on the table summit with 17 points while UCU are now on eight points in the fifth place.

In Soroti, striker Fazila Ikwaput converted from 12 yards in the 7th minute to ensure a 1-0 win for Lady Doves over her former side Olila High School.

Lady Doves had lost all their last three league games but are now level on points (13 each) with second placed Uganda Martyrs.

Olila High School are bottom of the seven team table with only three points.

The Fufa Women Super League is one of the Fufa authorized competitions that have been suspended due to the fears of the coronavirus outbreak.
