FUTSAL: Yeak Kabowa, Park out to intensify title race

The Futsal Super League will resume this Thursday 4th April with seven games to be played at the International Futsal Courts in Mengo, Kisenyi.

Log leaders Yeak Kabowa will intensify the hunt for this season’s title when they take on Bajim at 9:00pm.

Yeak Kabowa (42 points) are four points clear of second placed Park who play against Mengo City in one of the 7:00pm kick offs.

Park come into this encounter after stumbling to a 2-2 draw against Crown last week.

Parakeets who are third on the table with 34 points take on bottom placed Yap Stars at 8:00pm.

Crown who are on a reviving mission, will open up the evening with an early kick off at 6:00pm against Kabowa United.

Defending champions Dream will hope to bounce back to the rails when they take on league debutants Aidenal school of Art at 9:00pm.

Nomad and Equator will take center stage at 7:00pm whereas Elephants and Typhoon will lock horns at 8:00pm in the other fixtures on card.

Yeak Kabowa’s red hot duo of Enock Sebagala and Shafic Avemah lead the scorers’ chats with 30 goals and 28 goals respectively.

Park’s skipper Babu Iddi comes closest with 26 goals on his name.
