FUTSAL : Park go six clear, Aidenal earn first point of the season

Park Futsal Club stretched their lead on the Futsal Super League table to 12 points accumulated from four games that is six points clear of the chasing pack.

This follows their fourth win of the season after defeating rivals Kabowa FC 2-1 in one of the three games played on Monday evening at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.

Shafiq Mulangira scored a brace for Park while Abdul Swaburu Mugenyi found Kabowa’s lone goal of the game.

Bottom placed Aidenal Entebbe earned their first point of season after playing a 4-4 draw with Mengo City.

Samuel Kabugo, Jordan Kasozi Michael (brace) and Ismail Seguya were all on target for the Entebbe side who had lost all their previous three games.

Abdallah Maawiya grabbed a hat trick while Geoffrey Atuhirwe found the other goal for Mengo City.

Kisenyi FC went second on the table after overcoming Intercity SC Busega with a 6-3 win in the other game played.

Tonny Ssemwogerere and Abdifitah Ahmed Omar scored a brace each for Kisenyi adding on Umar Sebuliba’s goal and an own goal.

Twaha Mutyaba, Raymond Walugembe and Franco Sunday scored for Intercity SC.

Franco Sunday now leads the scorers’ chats with six goals from four games played.

The league will resume next week on Monday 25th November with the final first round games at the same venue.
