FUFA’s CDP suspends Nabbosa for three games

FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel has suspended Lady Doves midfielder and captain Reticia Nabbosa for three FUFA Women Super League games.

Nabbosa was found guilty of breaching Article 31(2) of the FUFA Competitions Rules and Regulations.

The Crested Cranes midfielder slapped her goalkeeper Agatha Agnes Adongo during their 2-1 defeat to She Corporate at MUBS Arena in Nakawa last Saturday.

Nabbosa who was frustrated in the aftermath of conceding the second goal from Phiona Nabbumba’s free kick in the 75th minute and subsequently slapped the young goalkeeper.

Nabbosa apologized for the incident and was suspended for seven days by her club effective of Sunday 28th February.

Lady Doves have had a poor start to this season and currently sit bottom of the FUFA Women Super League table with only one point from four games played.
