Following President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni address on Covid-19, the Federation of Uganda Football Associations has suspended all Uganda Premier League fixtures for match day 27.
The development was confirmed in letter to the CEO UPL Clubs on Saturday.
“Following H.E President of the Republic of Uganda address to the nation on Friday 18th June 2021 on the COVID-19 pandemic, new directives were issued.”
FUFA wishes to announce that all Star Times UPL matches scheduled for Saturday 19th June 2021 and Sunday 20th June 2021 have been postponed.”
FUFA will give further guidance on the remaining match days in the near future.”
The match day 27 games affected include Vipers SC Vs Onduparaka, Busoga United against URA and Wakiso Giants taking on Express FC.
